Grand Turk returns to Ramsgate

The popular replica 18th century British frigate, the Grand Turk, famous for her staring roles in the major television series the Hornblower and Longitude makes regular return visits to Ramsgate during April and May, subject to weather and tides.

Ramsgate Week, 16th - 20th August 2010, with a full programme of yacht
and powerboat racing, (100's of boats expected to participate).

Sanwich Open 2011 The Royal St. George's Glof Club 14th - 17th July 2011

Preparations are well under way for the return of The Open Championship to Royal St. George's.  It will be the 14th time the Championship will be played at the Club and expectations are high.  It is a wonderful venue from a visitor's point of view due to the layout of the course and the many natural vantage points affording great views of the action.

• Canterbury (about 17 miles), the county town of Kent, with its famous Cathedral, wealth of historic buildings and shops
